About this ebook
High technologies in Japan as electronics & computer, solar energy, nuclear power and space engineering & nature are introduced and presented as original papers. After graduating Kyoto University (Physics) and the University of Florida (Nuclear Eng. PhD), I experienced a boiling water reactor BWR as Fukushima #4 and nuclear instrumentation for LMFBR (Joyo, Monju) in Hitachi and Japan Atomic Energy Agency, as well as an advanced traveling reactor ATW and a nuclear fusion of D-3He plasma with pions ignited by antiproton. Furthermore studied were solar cell & thermal power generation as the sunshine project, electronics as quartz resonator & computer programming with PC, and spacecraft thermal design of international space station ISS with a super computer.

1. Electronics & computer
Introducing the experience of the science and technology research in the 20th century the reader is expected to jump to the science in the 21st century, as seen in my book Engineering Simulation
in Japanese epub. As the experience in this century, even the tour of American continent Greyhound bus crossing, American friends, alligator fishing, during my study of nuclear power engineering in doctoral course (PhD) at The University of Florida would be interesting. In this century, experienced were instrumentation of nuclear power station, and the heat design of artificial satellite and rocket, the computer Internet utilization, and solar energy development in the company of Japan. As the science to the 21st century, let us examine personal computer especially as an Internet communication, predict the global ambient temperature rise of the earth, and design Japanese version space shuttle, and international space station and space colony.
1.1 Computer software
A personal computer (PC) has diffused rapidly into a company and home and the annual sale number of units is extent over a television and automobile. Then, it is the purpose for this PcScience
to deepen the comprehension of the science and technology that passes in the 21st century and to utilize especially this soft collection by using PC. For this PC soft (operation system OS), MS-DOS (Disk OS) and Windows of Microsoft are used widely at the present moment. This development language (for example Quick BASIC, Quick C) depends on the machine type of PC for the use of DOS. For Windows, Visual BASIC and Visual C++ are used to develop the application programs. In the meantime, Java does not depend on a machine type and is being used widely. For our PcScience
BASIC, C and Java are mainly used to develop this PC software.
There are electronic mails Email, news NetNews, file transferring protocol FTP etc. in Internet, and the main tool is WWW (the nest of a spider World Wide Web). Nearly one hundred million people use Internet throughout the world, and over ten million people are utilizing also in Japan. This WWW uses GUI (Graphical User Interface) in the homepage as the multimedia information of the sentence, image and sound, and it enables even the transmission toward the world.
Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer are the standard software, for soft that read this homepage. However, the common programming language that is able to transmit the multimedia information such as an animation and music has become necessary to the personal computer (Windows, Apple etc.) and a workstation (UNIX). In 1995 Sun Microsystems disclosed Java (coffee) the programming language, gratuitously as JDK (Java Development Kit). This Java is utilizing to the Internet homepage, as Applet of the byte cord that does not rely on the machine type and be simplifying language. Furthermore,Java is able to use structural programming and to show a chemical molecule even in the field such as in education and industry, because the computer of standalone comes with an animation. At the end of 1998, Java2 language, where GUI of the two dimensions and three dimensions are strengthened, have come to able to materialize the interactive nature of the animation, voice, real time to the WWW browser.
On the other hand, Microsoft is offering windows over 80 % share of the personal computer and has input ActiveX including Visual Basic Script. When the head is tormented whether or not ActiveX is made or Java is made, even in the case that the organization such as the company constructs Intranet, to the exception that makes the homepage with an individual. One method that such active WWW content is made into the Web page which was defined with HTML the implementation script bury to be crowded. For this Netscape Navigator is JavaScript, and Internet Explorer has materialized this with Visual Basic Script. It is a Java applet and ActiveX control OCX to be paid attention as the technology that develops the more complicated component.
In the 20th century we have developed high technologies, for example, computer, atomic power, robot, rocket, artificial satellite. It is to offer the essence of the high tech that the goal of the simulation includes even the rocket flight dynamics, thermal analysis. An ordinary differential equation and three dimensional computer graphics 3D-CG are used for the calculation method. For example a senior high school student is able to learn the circular constant index, prime number, standard deviation, simultaneous linearequation, inverse matrix and higher order equation and so on. A university student can study the application problem such as a least square approximation polynomial expression, partial differential equation, the Monte Carlo method, the eigen value problem and ordinary differential equation. In order to solve simultaneous linear equation Gauss method of elimination and the Gauss Jordan method, and Newton Raphson method to solve an algebra equation.
Furthermore, we will solve an ordinary differential equation with the Runge Kutta method, the Runge
