Lillie visited America often. Her famous 6,000 mile trip by wagon, boat, ship and foot have been reviewed thousands of times. In this novelized form of her history, Donna Lee Harper takes us into her private moments with famous others. Lillie had strong relationships with the likes of Oscar Wilde, Bat Masterson, and others. Harper, also from Lillie's hometown, spent much of her life researching a woman she ended up calling a friend, although she'd never met her.
