    If you go walking,

    Close to Hadrian’s Wall,

    If you feel a hand in yours,

    Be careful not to fall.

    It is only the earth bound spirit,

    Of an orphan boy,

    Who was murdered by his uncle,

    He didn't even have a toy.

    It was his inheritance,

    That his uncle was after,

    When in the snow they went walking,

    There was definitely no laughter.

    Out upon the moor,

    The boy was left to die,

    Three days later they found him,
