About

Summary

The murder of Littleton, Colorado, teenager Traci Gonzales began an investigation that led to St. George, Utah, where two gang-related homicides caught the attention of Denver police detective Lt. Robert Menzies and his wife. Their vaction in St. George was about to be interrupted.
Traci Gonzales was attractive, popular, a cheerleader at Columbine High and an honor student, an unlikely target for murder.
The St. George victims were less honorable. Both were suspected of trafficking drugs from Mexico. They shared the same boyfriend, and both died at his hands. Another murder would soon be added to the grim mosaic.
A brief but deadly shoot out at a diner in Hurricane, Utah, left a victim dead. However, the dead man at Denver police corporal Tamara Menzies' feet was not their suspect. Traci’s murderer lay on the floor in Menzies' home in Lakewood, Colorado. Their daughter Krista held the smoking gun.
