      Chapter 1

      Everything was kind of peaceful the morning of May thirteen. Seemed to Julius that the planets were in perfect harmony and there was peace in the air! He had been fully pardoned from military service. With the good Doctors report to the right officials it was decided that he was not to be in service and not placed in harms way. That did not however keep him from the home guard. Turned out that he had to serve his new unwanted country one weekend a month. Didn't matter what weekend he was told as long as he gave the confederate home guard at least one. Kind of a bitter pill he had to swallow but he hoped to himself that Pensacola would soon fall to the Union forces and that would be the end of it.

      Yes all was right with the world so Julius thought but soon he reasoned that someone or something would come along and remove the peace replacing it with confusion and discord. Julius felt this deep inside himself and secretly braced for it even prepared for it. He knew somehow that something was coming...Coming bringing death and destruction and it sure as Hadies wasn't the blue-bellies. But what was it? What? He had no answers only more questions with no answers forthcoming.

      He thought back to the events of the last few weeks...The Moon Gathering and how the Dark one who Called for Cathy's death. Trying his best to whip the others into a state of fear and panic but to no avail. Julius won the day regarding the heated argument. He reasoned to the others that Cathy was only one Werebear...A peaceful one at that! That the Dark one was on his grounds with his mob trying to kill her! On his Grounds! Without his knowledge or permission!

      She asked of me sanctuary and I was bound by my code of conduct to give it! Any one of you would have given the same he reasoned to them! Besides I will be reasonable for her! I will
