“What an inspiration for teens. Being around middle school students all day, I wish I could get them all to read this book to help make their teen years easier.” Linda Gronski

Dedication
This fun collection of cartoons, quotes and favorite family lectures is dedicated to the extended Paulson Family Clan who have taken no journey or attacked no problem without first making sure that they had their faith and their laughter packed along for the ride. This collection of wisdom for the ages would not have been possible without the love and support of the couple at the head of our clan, Homer and Ann Paulson. Since the beginning, they allowed laughter and good family discussions to reside in our home every day.
Let me add a special tribute to my son and his wife, Sean and Nicole Paulson, who have blessed us with Micah, Jeremiah, Naomi and Chloe. With grandchildren like these, the clan has many lectures yet to come!
Let me also acknowledge my illustrator, Howard Derocco, whose artistic talent brought these timeless Favorite Family Lectures to life through his on-target cartoons.
Finally, let me thank all the parents and teens who took surveys to isolate the favorite family lectures they most needed to share and learn.

Introduction
After God created Adam and Eve, he gave them a baby. Then to keep the whole thing from falling apart, he invented humor. After they had to give back their keys to the Garden of Eden for eating the apple, God told them they would now have to work. He took back the apartment with a view but let them keep their sense of humor.
