About

Summary

Grace is trapped in a loveless marriage to the stuffy English Lord, Percy DeWitt.

One night she snaps and flees from the quiet life of their English country manor to a seedy dockside tavern. Waking the next morning with no memory of the night before, she finds herself captive of the dark, but sensual Captain Morgan.

Torn between her pirate captor and her quiet life in the English countryside Grace faces serious questions about love, lust and money in this steamy, new romance on the high seas.

Excerpt:
She remembered the first drink and the second. After that, things became hazy. A green-eyed man with dark hair and a short scruffy beard sat down beside her. His voice was low and gravelly; his accent purred in her ear, echoing through her body. It gave her goose bumps.

She remembered him leaning in close. His hand was on her hip; his mouth so close to her face she could feel his warm breath on her neck. And then... nothing, her mind was blank.

Grace rubbed her temples. The men on the deck were singing now. The sound was like nails on a chalkboard. It was the first time in her life she’d been drunk enough to have a hangover; she hoped it was her last.

She melted into the covers, wanting to fall back asleep. Suddenly, an arm swung across her waist and she felt a body snuggle in close behind her. Grace screamed.

“What?” the man shouted as he jumped out of bed. He grabbed a scabbard and unsheathed a dagger. He stood by the bed stark naked. “What?” he shouted again. His weapon was raised high, eager to strike out at an intruder.
