About this ebook

"Would You Like To Know How To Grow The Most Amazing Orchids?"

I received my very first orchid for my birthday one year and cherished the elegant plant for the two months that it bloomed. Then, when the petals fell off, I was heartbroken and thought that I had killed it with overindulgence or something. After consulting an expert at my local exotic plant store, I realized that with the proper care, my orchid would bloom again and again.

Five years later, I have a nice manageable team of orchids that continue to thrive under my careful eyes. Not only do these flowers brighten my rooms with their striking hues, they also allow me to enjoy one of the majestic oddities of nature right in my very own home.

Whenever I have visitors, I receive compliments and admiration about my orchids. They act as the highlights in every room they are placed, and as the center of a beautiful array of plants in the middle of my dining room table.

    Introduction

The delicate beauty and colorful variety of orchids make them so appealing that they seem to take on a mystical quality. This ancient flower has delighted millions with its enchanting scent and unique shape. The lush green leaves and distinguishing petals are attractive in a lovely, stylish way. Orchids are living, natural pieces of art.

The family of orchids includes more than 26,000 known species, which make up around one tenth of the entire group of classified seed and fruit plants. There are so many to choose from, and each of them has their own magnificence, it can be hard to know where to start when looking for your first orchid.

These plants are versatile and look great as houseplants in any style of home and they can also flourish in greenhouses, gardens, and other outdoor areas, given the proper climate and conditions.

Thus, orchids are not unique just because of their looks. Many people do not understand that orchids require specialized care, though they are usually very hardy plants if the proper care is given to them. Unlike most other houseplants, they are not planted in soil and so their growing and blooming needs differ from those that most people are used to providing for their plants.
