Charlee May’s been crushing on Dexter Hollingworth since she was fifteen. Five years later, a horrific skiing disaster leaves her millionaire dad critically injured and her mom dead at the hands of Dexter operating the lifts. Charlee is suddenly the sole caretaker for her little brother while their world falls apart.
Dexter couldn’t be more different from Charlee. He’s tattooed avoids exclusive relationships and his Dad has a fair share of illegal dealings. With Dexter’s reputation, almost everyone believes he planned the skiing disaster.
And after all these years he’s still crushing on Charlee May, the girl who’s too good for him.
When this cruel twist of fate ties Charlee’s family and Dexter’s reputation together, Charlee and Dexter wonder if their feelings are reciprocated, while Dexter discovers his dad is trying to steal the May’s millionaire fortune.
But like an addiction, one look, one touch, one taste—they’re hooked no matter the consequences.

Reviews for Drowning in You
Charlee May has been secretly in love with Dexter Hollingsworth for the past five years, admiring him from a distance. Dexter Hollingsworth is the hot, sexy, bad boy that every girl is after - high school football star, tats, attitude, never sticking to one girl for long, yet always with a constant string of them at his feet. The only one that he has ever been interested in is Charlee May, who he has has had a thing for since high school. Dexter doesn't think he's good enough for Charlee, especially in the light of the recent tragedy that has taken place.....a tragedy that the town blames him for. Despite all of this, Charlee and Dexter keep crossing each others paths. Their relationship is complex to say the least. Try as he may to stay away from her, Dexter just can't. It is like there is an invisible pull that is bringing these two together, a pull that is both intense and emotional. Charlee is trying to take care of her little brother Darcey, while her dad struggles for his life in the hospital. She wants Dexter, yet she feels she needs normal, and Dexter definitely doesn't fit that bill. He makes her feel and face things that she doesn't want to, but desperately needs to. Dexter has his own struggles and heartache that he is dealing with, and has secrets regarding himself and his past that torment him. Things get even more complicated when the circumstances surrounding the accident come into question and Charlee isn't sure who she can trust, all the while Dexter is determined to not only earn Charlee's trust, but to get to the bottom of things. Drowning in You is heartbreaking and heartwarming, with some twist and turns that add a little mystery, combined with some hot romance. I enjoyed getting to know the characters as they dealt with tragedy, trust, and heartache, while trying to find love in the process. If you are a contemporary romance fan, then Drowning in You is something you might want to check out.read more
