About this ebook
Jazz didn't know how the whole story was going to end with Gianni Payne. But as time rolled on she became more and more interested in finding out. They shared a history and a child and so the trick became how to blend their mutual interest together without it being the end of their future.

I hope you enjoy your visit feel free to cruise around the site and get to know me and my peeps LOL. I love writing Chick Lit/ Romance. I recently re-edited and reapplied the lipstick of my Chic Lit Series, Deja Vu of Love. The series starts off with Deja Vu of Love Packing for the Journey and covers two decades in the life of Jazz Kelly. As a writer, I am partial to using a third person multiple POV style of writing. Although not well known it is frequently used in Romance and other genre's where multiple points of views add to the depth and value of the story line, and character interactions.I also prefer moving the story along through the use of dialogue versus narrative. I think it's because I enjoy giving a distinct voice to all my characters. As a write, I believe that dialogue helps define the characters as people. I write about real women with flaws who are strong and confident and ready to live life. I enjoy watching my characters grow and change as the story of their lives unfolds. I try not to be too much of a control freak and let the characters write the story, after all, it is their life.So if you are a reader who likes to hear the voice of your characters and share their POV I am your next favorite writer LOLJust a little something about me I am a retired Actress, Director, Choreographer, who discovered her real passion in life, was writing.I have two sons Zachary and Garette I also have two doggie kids Hazel and Harry. My free time is spent in the garden enjoying nature and drafting books in my head. Decorating, writing and crafts also make the list of favorite things. I would love to have feedback from readers I think we are always curious about what people think of our work. So, here is my suggestion get a great glass of red wine, start the bubble bath grab a couple of chocolate covered caramels with sea salt. Then enjoy some quiet time with a good book. I hope you love and enjoy reading the characters with minimally twice the enjoyment I had writing them to life. Please pass the link to my book page to your address and Facebook people; if you believe I am worthy of a personal recommendation.May you enjoy all the bad boys of romance with none of the pain.

Chapter Thirty
September 2003
They arrived at Kennedy airport, and it was mayhem; Patrick was holding tight to his charge, looking around fervently. He suspected everyone who stood within arm’s reach was a danger. This was quite a switch up from San Luis Obispo Airport he was in the hyper-vigilant mode.
He was excited to deliver his package safely into the loving arms of her dad. His plans after that in no particular order were to get a massage at the spa and order his dinner room service style.
Tonight festivities would include a brief nap followed by a Film Noir marathon on the classic movie channel. It was going to be one crazy fiesta this weekend. Patrick had looked forward to this mini vacation for weeks. He preferred had discovered online booking and life would never be the same making hotel reservations.
His firm belief was that this new phenomenon called the world-wide-web would be a tremendous marketing opportunity. They needed to learn how to tap into it with Sierra Designs. Right now he couldn’t be certain how to harness all the potential energy, but he was learning.
Patrick would do whatever necessary to keep Sierra Designs cutting edge. Her reputation as stubborn was not a lie you had to know how to handle her. He vowed never to give into her notorious demands of sameness without a fight. His plan was to win the war he’d not let her keep on the blinders.
Whenever she didn’t want to expand her mind, he forced the issue. It was their pattern like this whole Gianni and Sierra thing. It would take an act of congress to get her on board, but he would get her on the bus
He was determined to preserve the perfect arrangement he’d fallen into. Sierra gets a dad, and he gets to enjoy the first-class accommodations. It’s a win, win, in Patrick’s mind ever since she met her dad.
She had been in a grounded space it was nothing but positive. He always felt honored, to help in developing, their fledgling relationship. Not that he did much to contribute except arriving with, Sierra. He was lucky for that he was a rock star to Gianni’s way of thinking.
Patrick had to admit he enjoyed the four-star treatment. He always stayed at the swankiest hotels. It’s a bitch, but someone has to do it,
Patrick mentioned to Jazz one day. She was harping on his claim these trips were work related.
When he wanted to needle her, he teased her about billable hours not that he ever would, the point is he could. Back on the left coast, Mommy dearest behaved as the stubborn woman she personified.
The ball was in his court as Godfather to make sure this relationship had enough contact to grow. Sierra was always excited beyond Patrick’s endurance to see her dad. She barged into Patrick’s quiet reverie with bombastic non-stop conversation.
In the meantime, he tried to catch a glimpse, of Gianni. Patrick’s efforts proved to be in vain, there was not a Gianni to be found. He could see nothing except the tops of heads, and the chests of other passengers.
He was nothing if not resourceful, so he picked up Sierra and held her above the crowd. Sierra, I need you to give a shout out the minute you see your dad coming.
Okay, Uncle Patrick I see him, Daddy I’m here, hey Gianni Payne over here,
Sierra yelled out at the top, of her lungs. She began to flail her arms above her head with a voice that screeched, in that seven-year-old pitch that hurts ears. Lowering Sierra to the ground and she promptly dumped him for the impeccably tailored Gianni Payne.
In the humble opinion of Patrick the Fashionista, he enjoyed immaculate grooming. Today in his black duster coat with an awesome fedora, it was over the top, he looked like a movie star. Every woman who walked by did a double take. The guy was such a stud in Patrick’s professional opinion.
Then again Patrick had trouble in that department around Gianni too. He was such a great guy so handsome and so straight. Given the wardrobe choices, he had seen Gianni make his taste was as superb as his looks.
There came a time you had to give credit where credit was due. The man only had eyes for his daughter. Gianni pulled a bag from under his coat. The bag he produced held new wardrobe items. This brought a squeal of pleasure from Sierra.
I bet I get a birthday present. I got real good grades, Daddy, I brought my report card with me. I’ll show it to you if you want to see it. I mean it I got a good one that’s got to be worth something for a girl.
She batted her eyes flirtatiously in her dad’s direction.
Her dad bundled her in spectacular fur Patrick gasped when he saw the fur jacket and matching snow hat. With an exceptionally lovely pair of bright orange cashmere mittens, they looked soft.
He kneeled next to Sierra, and she made little circles on Gianni’s shirt with her gloved index finger she couldn’t seem to resist a flirt or two with her handsome father. Such an unexpected splash of color and Patrick’s youngest fashion Diva loved it.
It was evident to the entire airport once Sierra strutted and stomping the kid was natural. She had her runway walk posing every other second it was impressive.
Uncle Patrick quick takes a picture of me. I want to show Gretchen, Megan, and everybody in Cayucos. The fur coat my dad bought me, daddy, I love it. I think it’s sad it never snows in Cayucos. Then I could take it home and wear it there too. We would get more for our money.
Good thinking honey let’s get the luggage so we can blow this Popsicle stand.
Sierra started her giggling routine again as Gianni guided her towards the baggage claim area, she chatted nonstop. Patrick followed shocked beyond words. Over the winter garb, Patrick tried not to react negatively because that’s not how he felt.
It was just a total surprise no one had emailed him pictures Gianni had bought Sierra the jacket and hat on his own. Which if he wanted to do was fine after all he was Sierra’s dad. Gianni I’ve got to hand it to you I’m impressed for sure that coat is exquisite.
I don’t want to send her home sick with a cold to her mama Patrick.
Gianni smiled and could tell Patrick was surprised and he probably should have run it by him. After all, he didn’t want to hear crap from Jazz. He said silent thanks to the child stylist he hired.
Randi Schaffer was thought of as one of the best stylist specializing in kids. To do the seasonal clothes shopping for her until Sierra was old enough to do it. Randi spent three weeks buying an entire wardrobe. They were all hanging neatly ensconced in her new custom closet.
He also appreciated all the help from Patrick who worked from his end to make sure proper sizes, and taste, for Sierra, were on task. Plus Gianni wanted to ensure the selections were mother approved. Jazz would blow a gasket over the extravagance and inappropriateness of this coat. He knew that instinctively based on his knowledge of her and
