Life is like the game of football. Teammates preparing for battle. Mentors coaching from the sidelines. Opportunities to persevere through trials, recover from injuries, regroup during a timeout, adjust after penalties, and celebrate the victories. As the wife of a high school football coach, Candee Fick has learned a lot about life as illustrated on the football field.
Pigskin Parables: Devotions from the Game of Football is a collection of 17 devotional readings covering many aspects of the game of football. It is also a preview for Pigskin Parables: Exploring Faith and Football, an eleven-week devotional.
