Description

Just about everyone has had at least one dream that we cannot forget! On the other hand, maybe we can only remember a small portion of it so clearly that we see it repeatedly when our eyes are closed. Some of us may have had a dream that gnaws away at us... wondering what the meaning could be, or perhaps have had a frightening dream that seems to be predicting a harsh event or tragedy. Have you been praying for answers about a certain situation in your life?

This author believes that dreams are a gift from God to all peoples, another way He communicates with us on a level that we can understand. This book deals with a large variety of colors that we may remember from a dream, suggesting possible interpretations; using scriptures that may help with the interpretation, and listing a variety of ways (common utilization) in which we use the number in today's world.

When researching a 'color' or 'colors' that we have remembered from our dreams, we just may find an answer...to a prayer.

Introduction:

Finding Color Symbols In Your Dreams

Colors are amazing in so many ways; they can add significant meaning to pretty much anything. Color itself is an identifier. It can identify a mood, a season, a time, and place. When it has changed, it can cause a big change to an interpretation...for instance, a crib painted pink, automatically causes us to think that it is for a baby girl since pink represents female in our world. Change the paint to blue (a male identifier), and it becomes a baby boy's bed. Another example; in a dream, I may find myself sitting on a yellow sunny beach, and I am very happy, but then clouds quickly roll in darkening everything to grey. The mood that changes from happy to dismal or fearful, changes simultaneous as the clouds roll in. Changing the atmosphere or feeling of the dream.

There are so many different colors, and shades in this world that I do not really believe it can be counted as to how many colors there really are. For an example as to what I am saying is... In estimation, a 24-bit RGB computer can simulate 16 million colors.

Our Creator filled this world with every color imaginable... The human body has many hues and shades of colors, making each one an original. Color adds life to just about anything. It inspires us into creativity; it can evoke passion where none existed. In studies, it has been proven that colors can affect our moods by stimulating hormones through the central nervous system.

When researching something in your dream (or vision), color is used to change an atmosphere, or highlight something important that you need to see and understand.

I have been told that some people only dream in black and white. However, everyone I have ever talked to about dreams has mentioned a color, they remember from it. Ask yourself when you remember a color in your dream; what emotions were you feeling; were you frightened or happy? Did the color change the meaning or feel of an object? Did the color remind you of someone or something in real life? Is the color meaningful to you in some way? Does the color cause problems, or make things easier in the dream. Were items the wrong color, if so what color were they and why? Each of these questions if answered can show you something more about the dream then you first thought.

Colors inspire memories and emotions. For instance, in the dream, you see a bright green plant, everything around it is brown, and it draws your eyes since it is the only color there. Maybe the plant is from a childhood play-yard or in a room in your house, or a friend's house, church or just about anywhere you have been. It could be there to cause you to remember or to look for that item or emotion when you are awake.

I believe the Lord in an answer to a prayer may give us color in our dreams to help us gain a better understanding of what He may be showing or teaching us. In our dream(s) or vision(s) color can be used to highlight an emotional time in our lives, or bring peace to a stressful situation, in turn teaching us that there can be peace in a the situation we prayed about. It can highlight a troubled area in our lives, which we did not notice during our busy awake hours.

The best thing that we can do is ask Holy Spirit to reveal to us what a color meant in our dream, trusting that He will reveal it to us in some form. Ask a trusted friend to help you figure out what it could mean, sometimes we are blind to our own answers because our minds have been set on one explanation, and discussing it with others that we trust, can help us to see more into the situation, and open up a different view.

We also need to remind ourselves that an interpretation from one person is not the absolute answer. The Apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 13:12 that we only 'know in part', that we 'see through the glass darkly'. Therefore, it is a good thing to talk with or seek the counsel of several people you trust in the Lord. Then put all the ‛parts’ or 'interpretations' together, and an image or total picture will begin to emerge. Most of all take what the trusted people you have chosen said and what you yourself are feeling, and pray seeking the Holy Spirit's guidance. He is faithful to give us the answers we
