On my Twitter mini bio it says "I'm a hugger. Oh ... and I write things." This basically sums me up pretty nicely. I love to write, so I do. Writing, to me, is about sharing and connecting with people. I like to metaphorically reach out and hug people with my words! And as long as I am doing that, I am a happy clam. I hail from Australia, the land down under. (Where women glow and men plunder) More specifically, I am from the western burbs of Sydney. It is a truly magical place, where you can hear the call of sirens through the night and the sunsets are a bright watermelon from all the toxic pollution ... but nah, seriously, I love it here. I have a dog named Roe Roe, a black Lab with perpetually sad eyes that loves to hold my hand while I write. Seriously. You can see more of Roe on my social media. But, about my writing, I don't tend towards any particular genre. So, if you stick with me, hopefully you will be in for some surprises along the way. to quote the great Sylvia Plath - "And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it and the imagination to improvise." Hugs AMC xxx

Part 1
The day Phillip met an intergalactic space alien started out as a seemingly normal and average morning.
Phillip sat. Dejected. Sunken. Swallowed up by his single seater armchair. He had been house bound now for at least a month. It was not due to any disfiguring disability or even some strange obsessive compulsive trait; it was simply because he had nowhere that he felt was worth going. So, he sat.
His armchair was one of the last remaining things that his, soon to be, ex-wife had left him. The only other things that she had left behind were the dog (a terribly old Yorkshire terrier named Gravy), two single beds (without linen), the kettle, a teaspoon, and two mugs. Not the good china, mind you, she definitely took
