I wish I had read this before my labor and delivery, but even reading it in the days afterward was very useful. It was reassuring to read about normalcy and have answers to questions about things that occurred and would occur in the days soon to come. This book answers many of the questions that a new mom has and may not think to ask her doctor. Questions can be answered or prompted from this little quick guide. It is short enough to read in snippets and enjoy the information gained. I recommend it and look forward to other Quick Guides from the "Your Pregnancy" series.more
I received this book at the perfect time, it arrived the day before I delivered my first child, a daughter. The wisdom in this book is exactly what I needed to read and hear. The quick guide is not overwhelming with information, but provides enough to give advice and reassure the new mother (or other person affected by a recent family addition) in a time of drastic change. Reading this book over a week, just snippets here and there when a break from new baby care occurred was just what I needed. I cannot wait to read more of the Quick Guides from the "Your Pregnancy" series and I highly recommend them to others.more
