Catherine Jackson was the editor of the monthly magazine Mental Health Today,
published by Pavilion, which she launched in 2001. Previously she edited the mental
health nursing journals Mental Health Care and Mental Health Nursing. She has
specialised in health journalism for most of her working career, first as a cartoonist
for Nursing Times, then a reporter on Nursing Standard, and as deputy editor of the
Health Visitor journal for eight years before specialising in mental health issues. She now the deputy editor of the BACP magazine Therapy Today.read more
