The quest for good leadership in most African countries remains on the increase, especially as conflicts of different kind loom and posing an untold human suffering, undermining social and economic development, and breaking social fabrics and social co-existence. Conflicts are the most responsible factors in the underdevelopment of both physical and mental infrastructures in many countries in Africa.
Bishop Arkanjelo wani Lemi is current Presiding Bishop of Africa Inland Church in both the Republic of Sudan and South Sudan. He has served in different capacities as Capacity Building Manager, Field Coordinator, and Partner support Coordinator with Non-governmental Organizations including the Norwegian Church Aid, Church Ecumenical actions in South Sudan and ACROSS
Bishop Arkanjelo is a board member of Emmanuel Christian College (EEC), Chairman of Imatong Bible School, and Deputy Chair of Yei Electric Cooperative (YECO). He is also the founding member of the famous Church Leaders Mediation Initiative (CLMI) which mediated the final peace deal between the Government of South Sudan and the South Sudan Democratic Movement/Army Cobra faction.
