Her first account is a drug that scorches fat, bronzes skin, and fires up dormant libidos: the Barbie Pill. She executes a perfect campaign, targeting new mothers who are ready to throw in the burping towel on failed attempts to regain their pre-baby bodies, not to mention sex drives.

When Lissy discovers the beauty pill's ugly secret, she must choose between a promising new love interest (of course this happens when she meets a surgeon so modest he refers to himself as "just a mechanic with blood") and succeeding in the glossy world of Los Angeles advertising.

The Creatives explores what women will risk in their quest for the perfect career, romance, and dress size.

In writing this novel, I extensively researched Bremelanotide, the real life Barbie Pill available by prescription in Europe and illegally (but temptingly worth the prison time) online.

The Creatives placed 3rd in the 2009 Romance Writers of America Stiletto Contest.
