Dedication
I would like to thank my small army
of e-mail poetry readers who supplied me with an audience, kind words and insightful observations over the years. You have kept me writing and I am grateful for that. Your encouragement to finally put together a book has led to this.
In memory of Bernie Powell whose last e-mail to me was to put a book together. He passed away February 9, 2015, my birthday. He will be remembered for his vitality, wit, enthusiasm all at the age of 88.
Dedicated to those past and present
mentioned in these pages.
To James Hietter, fellow rider on the trail.
For Molly: my joy, my heart, my purpose.
