Description
There are six key elements to a successful potty-training endeavor:
- How do I know if my kid is ready?
- Why won't my child poop in the potty?
- How do I avoid "potty power struggles"?
- How can I get my kid's daycare provider on board?
- My kid was doing so well — why is he regressing?
- And what about nighttime?!
This book will help solve all of those questions, and other common issues as well. This book isn’t written on theory, it isn’t based on old principles that aren’t tested, rather it is based on real research and practice, and does its best to answer all the questions you might ever have on the subject.

"My wife and I have been struggling to potty train our now 3-year-old for the last year and a half. Yes, there are plenty of excuses I can give you, from his particular needs to our schedules to the fact that diapers are just sometimes easier. Needless to say, we were desperate! We did some research and decided to get this guide on potty training, hoping it would be the miracle that would save us from another 16 years of diapers before we sent the kiddo off the college. After about three weeks with this book, seriously, our kid is basically potty trained. Heck, we aren't even halfway through the book! It's like our child has been ready for it the whole time, it's just that our approach was way, way off. Thanks to this book, though, we are nearly diaper free!"

"I am happy to report, that after 10 days since "Potty Training: Day One" we are basically there! I was holding off on writing this review until I saw the results, because after all you wouldn't review an apple you bought at the store until you tasted it, right? I could have written a review based on its lighthearted nature, the fact that it is comprehensive, funny, and very relatable, but I still wanted to make sure my kid actually ended up potty trained based on the book's methods. Well here I am, at DAY 10, and happily writing this review. I'm officially calling it since, this afternoon while my back was turned, my little one tended to her business all by herself. I only knew of it when she exclaimed to me, the room, and the whole neighborhood: "I POOPED IN THE POTTY!""

My first kiddo potty trained right before he turned 3, and it was super simple. No books, just let him run naked and he went on the potty, never wanted to pee or poop in his pullup again.
Our second and third kiddos potty trained at the same time (because I was pregnant and tired with baby #4) at ages 3 and 2yrs old WITH THE BOOK. They were totally different than my first kiddo, and I needed nearly every page of this book to help me with them. So so so grateful. Thank you Jamie Glowacki! I recommend your books to AALLLL of my friends!
Our fourth kiddo is just a month away from Jamie's "window" (18mo), and I'm excited to see where it goes. I really can't imagine all four kiddos potty-trained. I'm used to at least 2, if not 3 kiddos in diapers at the same time haha.
