Creeps

About this ebook
Creeps is a mall play that can be performed with a cast of fourteen teens on a rather small stage. The action revolves around a group of teens who are enjoying their day at the mall until they are insulted by a group of kids who think that they are really, really cool. The geeks take a stand and prank the cool kids, which is not appreciated by these very coolest of teens.
The play is quite entertaining and will have the audience laughing throughout. The audience is asked many questions including, Who has a better time at the mall, the cool kids or the geeks?
Creeps is certainly recommended for all high school Drama Programs as well as teen Theatrical Companies and Dramatic Groups.

I was born in Cincinnati and grew up in the American Mid-West. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received a Masters in Education from the University of Cincinnati. I became a teacher and found a job teaching English and Film and Television at Trinity Bay State High School in Cairns, Australia. As a teacher I wrote many One Act Plays that students enjoyed performing in. I became the Rugby coach at the school and began writing novels that my students could read, relate to and understand. I decided to publish the novels under the name of Teen Friendly Books. At present I have 24 written and 15 published. My plan is to write many more books for teens to read and enjoy.

ACT I
Scene 1
The scene is a seating area in a Food Court in a mall. Five tables are on the stage with four chairs around each table. Some plants decorate the stage to make the seating area more appealing.
A teenage boy dressed in combat gear sits at one of the tables. He eats a hamburger and has a drink with a straw in it sitting on the table. He is not watching any action. He looks sad and is lost in his own thoughts.
Three sixteen year old boys carry their bags of food onto the stage.
They are all typical boys of that age. They wear trendy t-shirts, pants and shoes.
ADAM
Any suggestions on where we should sit?
JAMES
Let's sit where I can get a great view of all of the
girls eating lunch.
CORY
Do you ever complete a sentence without the
word girl in it?
JAMES
On occasion, but probably not today.
(pointing)
Hey check out that girl.
ADAM
(looks at James)
Do you have to tell us about every girl that you
see?
JAMES
There are so many pretty girls around and
neither of you make much of an effort to see
them. I don't want you to miss out.
CORY
Please let us miss out.
ADAM
At least occasionally.
JAMES
But..
CORY
No buts, we want to miss out occasionally.
JAMES
Are you sure?
CORY and JAMES
(simultaneously)
We are positive!
JAMES
Alright then, it's your loss.
CORY
No, we will see the girls that we want to see.
JAMES
Alright, if that's the way you want it to be.
CORY
Trust us, that's the way we want it to be.
ADAM
Hey, isn't that Matt Adler sitting over there?
CORY
It can't be, he never leaves his
