- Journey
Book 3 in the Council of Three series starts during Amy, Paul and Frank’s battle to leave Earth. With military and government cooperation it should have been easy, but no one counted on the criminals attacking the military base that now surrounds the pillar. Overwhelmed, the soldiers defending the base have to rely on Amy’s powers to shield them. They now travel with two protectors who ensure that they are all well-armed and supplied. They are going to need every bullet they can carry. With them is a baby alien spider that has her own agenda and secrets. Others are watching them; a wolf-like policewoman, and an angel, but angels are a race other aliens despise. They discover that another Earth human is loose in the galaxy and following them. They capture him, only to release him after obtaining the location of a newly discovered pillar on Earth and the promise of his group’s cooperation. As they travel they become aware that they have been named ‘the three’, which seems to be part of some prophesy. The One Who Tests provides a sign, something humans on other planets are calling a miracle. It seems that God has a special role for Amy, as a healer. Why, when, how or where, Amy doesn’t know. They start to question the old priest’s motives as the route he gave ‘the three’ leads them into dangerous places and situations again and again, seemingly always arriving during a crisis. Are they being set up? They are concerned that they may not survive to reach the old priest’s home planet. Turning back is an option they don’t want to think about.
- Keys
Book 2 in the Council of Three series sees Amy, lost in a sandstorm, saved by the One Who Tests. It seems that on other planets God is more directly involved in the lives of humans. Amy meets a baby alien that she is to take to Earth. That seems to be a condition of their travelling from Earth into the galaxy. The baby alien spider is already four feet across from claw to claw and growing! They aren’t given an option to say no. Returning to Earth, Amy takes the baby spider to university with her, hiding it in her dorm room. Babysitting an alien turns out to be a full time job. Someone takes a movie of the spider, and it only gets worse after that. Amy discovers that a baby spider is the least of her troubles. The staff that the old priest gave her is changing her physically; she heals faster and has more energy, but it gives her strange dreams and nightmares. Also, the criminals and the government watch and follow her, and the criminals have decided to act. Warned by an alien, Amy runs from the criminals but she is stopped, kidnapped, drugged, and tortured for her knowledge on how to travel to other planets. She is to be killed, but the government rescues her before that can happen. Unfortunately the government decides to lock Amy, Paul and Frank up and throw away the key! Given powers by the staff, which is now talking to Amy in strange two word sentences, she uses shields to escape from the seventh floor of the hospital where she is being held. Paul and Frank are warned and escape capture. Now they all have to travel across the US without being found by the criminals or the government, but they only have 48 hours to get to their rendezvous. Once they’re together they still have to get off Earth. Unfortunately, the military have occupied the area around the pillar, the only known way off Earth. Add to those troubles, aliens think that Earth is the most dangerous planet in the galaxy, and propose to do something about it !!!
- Return
Book 4 in the Council of Three series, begins when Amy, Paul and Frank arrive at the old priest’s home planet only to face those who oppose anyone who could be named as the Council of Three. Fortunately they have some allies, but will they be enough? It seems that they have yet another situation to deal with. Was all of this planned? A coup has put some very dangerous people in charge of the planet, people who don’t want the Council of Three to survive. They put ‘the three’, Amy, Paul and Frank, on trial for claiming to be the Council of Three, the alleged top judges in the galactic society, and the guilty verdict is already decided. ‘The three’ are forced to flee to another planet. Facing this threat makes them ask themselves, do they want this job? Is it a role that they’re ready for? The One Who Tests intervenes, providing their Councilors’ staffs. People say it is a sign from God. With the new powers promised with their new staffs, they are frustrated by the realization that there is no one alive to train them. Their only hope is to find eight books left by the last Council of Three which should have the information they need. Unfortunately the books were left on different planets and no one knows where they all are. ‘The three’ are instructed to return home. Earth has been condemned as a barbaric planet and it is up to them to get Earth to change its ways. During the journey home Amy receives another sign from the One Who Tests, and is given a strange yellow uniform. She is told to wear the uniform all the time. Why? Contact with the Councilors’ staffs start physical changes in Amy, Paul and Frank, as they are being transformed to use the staffs’ powers. They must get to Earth quickly as they are told that only an Earth hospital has the equipment that will help them survive the transformations that they are not ready for. To complicate things, a spaceship is following them from planet to planet. When it follows them home, what will people do when it appears in Earth’s sky? What will happen when they tell the people of Earth that they must change their ways or face extermination? How will the people of Earth respond? Will it be the dawning of a new age of Earth’s civilization, or will it be anger, panic, war, and the destruction of humanity?

They must deliver his staff and journals to his home planet. Their first trip to other planets has them talking to huge intelligent spiders, and running from a dangerous alien and bandits. The local planets are more dangerous than they were told. A friendly alien guides them to the safety of a fortified village where they learn the galactic language and local customs. On their next trip they have to rescue the villagers, the ones who sheltered and taught them, from slavers armed with swords and spears. Using the sidearms and shotgun they carry with them this trip is the only way they can survive the overwhelming odds they face. Back on Earth they feel safer, but they don’t know that more than one group on Earth is aware of their travels to other planets. Each of these groups wants that knowledge for themselves.
