Summary

The gambling man, Alex Vladimir was born in Charleston, South Carolina in 1932. Unfortunate situations force him to flee there on a freight train when he’s just nineteen years old. After spending several years on the run--playing poker and cheating his friends, he arrives in Las Vegas in 1959. Using the money he’s skimmed from the Chicago Mob, he buys a casino on Fremont Street. His gambling and skimming provide him with a life of luxury.

When the infant daughter he’d left behind in Charleston in 1951 turns eighteen, they meet in Las Vegas. After the eventful meeting in Vegas; Sabrina goes back to Charleston. She finishes law school and returns to Vegas where she helps Alex run his gaming empire. Alex teaches her the tricks of the trade.

Alex and Sabrina are deceived by the crooked lawyer, Henry Castaneda. Charleston Cheat takes the reader from the early 1900’s to modern day times. Charleston Cheat is filled with poker, lies, gambling, cheating, love, romance, deceit, murder and destruction.
