    Chapter One: The Orient Express

Lake Geneva may not be the top tourist attraction in Switzerland this time of year, Morgan thought, but it sure came a close second for him. After his last assignment in Siberia nothing could ever mean cold to him again. But he had decided to visit not Geneva, which had just a few too many undercover Nazis for his appetite. Instead, he went on the Orient Express along with Barry to Lake Lucerne, which was about an hour and a half ride away after the hour hike down the mountain into Geneva.

He couldn't believe how tight his muscles were getting from all the physical exercise as he also began to realize that he had been soft and flabby from all that time cramped into the experimental planes he and Barry had been tackling for the Air Force.

So his present assignment. He preferred to see it that way, even though he and Barry had literally been hijacked and taken from their last mission by the covert ops of Base, a hidden fortress above Geneva where even more dangerous and dreadful top secret weapons were being tested. One of which was a human bomb. Him!

    Rocketman.

The flying suit quite literally gave him the ability to fly like a god through the air, and even as high as space if he were a gambling man. Last time he had tried that, his jets had quit on him, but he had managed to come out of his drop when they warmed up again. Nick and Al, Einstein and Nicolas Tesla, thought it was the high altitude, the coldness that had done it.

And sure enough, once they'd checked the suit, they saw where they had gone wrong and immediately went to work on another version with the help of their fabulous Tech department.

He and Barry were taking some furlough to rest, but also to see just how far the Nazi influence had spread outside of Geneva.

Sprechen Sie Deutsch? A man's voice interrupted his thoughts.

He looked up from his chair in the train.

Barry was out of it. Sleeping like a hibernating bear next to him.

The man was nondescript, a bit wiry for his age. Must have been thirty or so. A thin mustache, but smart looking eyes. And a smile that matched them.

    Nein. He joked.

    The man laughed, getting it.
