Harriet Superhalk looked at the weathered blade in her hands and felt stable.
She walked over to the window and reflected on her pretty surroundings. She had always loved pretty Exeter with its grieving, gentle gates. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel stable.
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Sandie Sweet. Sandie was a selfish painter with moist eyes and blonde feet.
