    Summary - BusinessNews Publishing

    Book Abstract

American Exceptionalism is the underlying belief that the United States of America has a unique role to play in the world. This role has arisen out of the fusion of the ideals expressed in the Declaration of Independence and America’s national identity. Americans believe in their country and as a result have built what is the most extraordinary nation in history.

Rather than being a quirk of history, American Exceptionalism is central to this nation’s survival. Every generation must learn for itself why being an American is a unique experience and responsibility. Rather than downgrading our belief in American Exceptionalism, we should be doing all we can to better understand it and act accordingly. Rediscovering afresh the concept that this nation is dedicated to protecting the right of every citizen to pursue happiness can and will revitalize the American people.

The more American Exceptionalism can be reasserted and reinvigorated, the easier it will become to gain popular support for governance which protects American liberties
