Wonders with Winter

Summary

Most people I know despise Winter and the imposition it brings to their daily routines. I adore Winter for the transitory beauty it brings to break up my daily routines. When Autumn colors turn to fallen browns beneath denuded trees I thrill to the prospect of frost on flora, ice forms along streams, floral matter coated by freezing rain, macro snowflake portraiture and snowscape photography. I never allow the weather to prevent me from enjoying the weather.

This book is a gallery of my favorite vistas and micro vistas of Winter sprinkled with sentiments about the ways in which the arctic demeanor impresses me and a few tips here and there regarding how I approach my photography of these frosty scenes.
