Forbes list of Billionaires makes us think that the richest are the greatest men on earth and it makes most young people to have ‘wealth’ as their sole ambition in life but could there be something more important to be considered as well?
Young adults have been taught several things from kindergarten to university, but mostly those things align towards money and not morals. The aim of secular education is ‘preparing people for the workplace’, which implies that priority is placed on your ‘work-ability’ and not your ‘personality’.
IDOWU
This book is dedicated to William Kumuyi for dedicating his life to teaching the words of the Messiah, who came to earth so I could get to heaven.
Being born into religion, I acknowledged it as the only right thing for me as an inheritance by birth, from which I cannot change. I never would have understood how the price of earthly morality is rewarded with the prize of eternal tranquillity, by salvation through repentance towards God and faith in the blood of Jesus, as the sacrifice that pays for my sins; were it not for your sermons.
Thank you for the Sunday mornings, the Monday evenings, and particularly the teachings on the book of the revelation of Jesus Christ.
I can see clearly now, after your explanations on the teachings of Jesus: the teacher come from God. I have found moral strength since I came to the cross.
If I continue till the end, I’ll see you in heaven.

My gratitude goes to God the creator, who brought me into the world and miraculously spared my life from death back in March 1999. ‘Our Father, hallowed be thy name.’
I’ll also like to say, ‘Blessed be the name of Jesus, I’m so glad he took me in.’ And, ‘Thank you for the cross, Lord.’
Then there’s my dad. There is nothing a father should do for a son that you have not done for me. I’ve never said it to you directly, but I love you, Daddy. Really, I do.
To my aging mother, who has suffered many deprivations in life because of me. Will I ever be able to repay your love and care?
Finally, to my dearest sister Sannie. Heaven knows that you mean heaven to me, and you’re to the closest to heaven I’ve ever been.
The majority of people believe that schools teach us everything we need to know. Sadly, this is not true. Schools focus on preparing us for jobs, earning money, and the functionality of the society. But where do we learn morality? Unfortunately, young adults have been taught several things from kindergarten to university, but most, if not all of those things align towards money rather than morals. The aim of secular education is focused on getting a job upon graduation from the university, which therefore implies that priority is placed on workability and not personality. The governments of our countries are mainly concerned about the economy, of which one of the measurement parameters is employment creation and poverty reduction; needless to say, this is also aligned towards money and not morals.
It therefore becomes the personal responsibility of a young person, and indeed anybody at all, to build a personality by imbibing moral values and goodly virtues, which in turn is achieved by having personal principles and living by them. In the long run, a man is responsible for his actions and will live with
