About this ebook
MGTOW—Men Going Their Own Way is a movement. Yes, it’s a thing! What does it mean? It means that men are fed up with women getting over on them. Or, at least that’s how some of them see it. Elaine FLOWERS wrote a blog titled, “Dating: 10 Things Men Don’t Do Anymore” and three years later, men are still hot under the collar about it and letting her know. To this day, the conversation continues and men are resisting us (women) and they’re resisting in a way that is shocking. Yep, ladies, we’ve done it now.
Elaine Flowers
A retired salon owner and hair stylist of more than 20 years, Elaine Flowers is a native of Wichita, Kansas, but now resides in Dallas, Texas. Becoming a full time writer and published author in 2002, she released her first novel, Black Beauty in 2004. In 2007, after weeks of negotiations, this bestselling author came out of her self-imposed exile, and signed with Hollygrove Publishing joining the literary team headed by national Best Selling Author, Brian W. Smith. Because her readers had been clamoring for her next work, Elaine decided to give them more than they expected with, It’s Morning: Torn Lovers and Their Stories (2008) A book comprised of two novellas and one short story, each one has a love triangle with two men and one woman. The long-awaited Broken Appointments will be Ms. Flowers’ third work of fiction. Being released February 2011, this novel will be a spin-off of sorts with two of the characters from Black Beauty. Yes, more beauty salon drama. In the interim, this gifted writer is having great success with her first non fiction, I Wouldn’t Mind Having a Husband, I Just Don’t Want to Be Somebody’s Wife: The Single Woman’s Guide to Self-fulfillment. It is a self help book designed for single-never-been-married women who are egregiously seeking a husband. Elaine Flowers is a full time writer, discussion leader and freelance editor. It is her desire to create a dense body of work for those who enjoy her stories.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Sorry to say, but this was quite the pointless read. Any men who follow this guidelines will be friendzone or abused by almost every women he meets. And even if he manages to get a girlfriend, he will likely be cheated or divorced.

At 55 I no longer pursue women and have chosen to go MGTOW. I can't honestly think of a relationship I've been in where having a woman in my life has actually made it better. I miss sex, but really, it isn't worth the nonsense that goes along with it.

Let’s face it, times have changed. Snow in Louisiana has become the norm. Reality television stars are more popular than trained actors. And the roles of men and women in relationships have changed drastically.
Nowhere is this relationship shift more apparent than in the dating arena. Who should extend the invitation? Who should pay for the meal? Who should drive? These questions, that two decades were relationship no-brainers, have become the talking points for heated gender debates, and the basis for this unique relationship book.
When Elaine first told me she was writing this book, I wasn’t sold on the idea. Just what the world needs, another male bashing book, was my initial sarcastic thought. But, my viewpoint changed a few weeks ago after I witnessed two couples interacting at a shopping mall.
While sitting in my car, I spotted a young couple coming out of a department store holding hands. The woman wore a smile that spanned the width of her face. A lovesick gaze, the type that probably inspired the heart-eyed emoji, could be seen from across the parking lot. Her male companion, on the other hand, didn’t seem as enamored with the woman or the moment.
The young
