THE BOOK’S INTRODUCTION
The book provides a clear and structural strategy of directions to guide the people of God to be victorious in seeing the manifestation of their prayer requests. Enclosed in this book are some biblical cases and non-biblical files that involve the author of this book. The book is a continuation of episodes and topics to influence and convince those who read it, that we can only see the results of what we petition before God when we submit ourselves to God’s procedures.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
At this point of this book, I would like to acknowledge Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, for inspiring me to write this book. I also would like to acknowledge and offer gratitude to my children and the members of my church—The Inspirational Church OF God In Christ Jesus Inc.—for their loyalty, patience, support, and encouragement for helping me bring this book to existence. I pray and hope that this book will be a spiritual and physical inspirational experience that will motivate the individuals to see the evidence of their prayer requests coming to pass.
THE BOOK’S PREFIX
The purpose for the writing of this book is to guide God’s people by means of research of biblical and other outside resources to prove the fact that our success for getting what we appeal for from God depends on following the Lord’s guidance. This book has been carefully examined to determine the discussion for what it is all about, and possess the intention to offer those who read it, a clear explanation for what it discusses and point toward the nature for its involvement and what it claims. The research, cases, and subjects found in these chapters bring closure for your applications to God and in addition show the evidence of its value from the Lord.
CHAPTER 1
God Demands a Response When
We Make Requests of Him
God has always demanded from those who trust in him that Thy will be done on Earth as it is in the heavens.
When we ask God to fulfill our desires, we should remember that God has a formula. If followed, that formula brings us into covenant with God’s divine will (God’s desired purpose for us). If God’s will means God’s desired purpose for his people,
then his will brings about our desires and what we ask from him. It is not wrong for believers to crave prosperity, because the Bible states in 3 John 1:2: Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.
Here, we see God’s will for the believers is first to be prosperous in the concerns of his Kingdom (duties and obligations to God). Then we see in John 3:2 that God also desires that That thou mayest prosper and be in good health.
This desire of God concerns materialistic possessions on earth for his people.
When asking God to give us requisitions, we must understand that God has a divine plan. God wants believers to acknowledge his plan, to comply with it, and to apply it when asking God for material things, when making decisions, and when setting goals. We are mortals representing Christ on the earth. We fail to receive some of our petitions from God. Additionally, we will not achieve our goals in life if we fail to follow God’s directions to accomplish success on earth. Proverbs 3:5-6 offers a good example of God’s desired will for our prosperity on earth: Trust in the Lord with all thane heart, and lean not unto thy own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.
Following God’s plan may be difficult. We are accustomed to traditions and book knowledge that we feel provide us the intellectual abilities to make our own decisions and to set and achieve our own goals in life. This attitude can result in failures, thus blocking us from receiving our desires from God.
The reality check
of our rejection of God’s strength of character, or desire, is that we do not achieve our purposes on earth nor do we incorporate our physical desires with God’s divine will for us. We become objective (impartial) about God’s desire for us, and thus God does not allow us to be successful on earth. God does not delight in denying our prayers or in our unsuccessfulness on earth. This is why Jesus left instructions based on his principles to steer us according to God’s will when we request help from God. We must be steered in the right direction, so that we can be prosperous.
We should first associate our substantial will (desire) to reach God’s principles, that is, God’s will for his children. Connecting our will with God’s Word puts us in
