HOW TO LIVE
IN GOD’S BLESSINGS
27147.jpgThere is no Christian who would not like to be living
in the blessings of Almighty God
It is far better than living
under the curses of the Almighty God
Deut 28:1-2
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: ² And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. KJV
Verses 3 through 14 explain these blessing, verse 15 states, But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments this day, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you: What curses? those listed in the last 53 verses of Deuteronomy 28.
By listening to the voice of the Lord our God, and obeying what He tells us to do, by yielding to His Holy Spirit, letting the fruit of the Spirit, the nine keys to success be manifested in us. These natural attributes of God will give us, (God’s children) the ability to walk with God, letting His love flow through us to all we come in contact with. It is up to us to make the decision, to do things the worlds way, or God’s way. By choosing the right way, which is God’s way, we open ourselves to receive the Fruit of His Spirit, the nine keys to success, love, Joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, by cultivateing these nine keys to success,
WE CAN LIVE IN THE SPECIAL BLESSINGS OF
OUR ALMIGHTY GOD.
Gal 5:22-23
²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, ²³ Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. KJV
Back in February of 1989 while in prayer, (really I was moaning and groaning to God about how long it took Him to answer prayer) He answered, in that quiet but firm voice, Son, you ask why it takes so long for Me to answer prayer ? I ask you why does it take so long for my children to bear the fruit of My Spirit which I planted in them ? They are saying with their mouth that they are Spirit filled. They seek all the gifts of the Spirit but are producing little if any fruit. I am coming for a harvest of the fruit of my Spirit.
Before we get into the values and blessings of the fruit of the Spirit, and see how to live in God’s blessings, let me fill you in on some of the things that God had to deal with in my life, to prepare me to to be a suitable place for Him to live. And then for me to live in His blessings. I will depend on the Holy Spirit to help me go back in my memory to recal the events that He used to shape me into the person He wanted me to become.
I will go as far back as my ninth year of life, and bring you up to the present,
One incident that I remember when I was around 9 years old that happened in San Antonio, Texas that revealed what God can do with a life for his purpose. Two young boys, a friend and I, decided we would build a boat and go boating in the San Antonio river, we had found a piece of corrugated metal roofing, long enough to make a canoe, so we took two pieces of a 2x4 one for each end and folded the piece of roofing over and nailed it to the 2x4 board, which made it shaped like a canoe, we thought we had it made, we had no paddles, so we thought we would try it out by floating down stream, but there we a few problems, we had not sealed the two ends of the canoe, and the corrugated shape of the roofing left some fair sized holes, neither had we put braces in the middle to hold the sides apart, we set the canoe in the river, and I held the boat while my friend jumped in, when his weight landed in the canoe it jerked it out of my hand and immediately began to sink, as the water rushed in the sides collapsed and trapped my friend in the boat, it did not take long for it to get to the bottom, and I never thought about it I just jumped in dove down to the canoe and he and I were able to push the sides apart and get him out of the boat, when back on shore we looked at the boat on the bottom of the river, about four feet down and us on shore wondering in amazement how we did do that, as neither one of us new how to swim. By God’s grace we were
