    On the night before Christmas, a little mouse who doesnt know about giving and hasnt heard much of humans sneaks out of his hole to enjoy a wonderful feast that has been laid out for celebration. As he gorges himself on all the goodies and treats, the little mouse is startled by someone standing very near.

    Santa Claus stands over the little mouse, watching as the mouse enjoys his feast. As they get to know each other, Santa learns that the little mouse knows nothing about Christmas or about giving. It is up to him to teach the little mouse all there is to know about giving and the Spirit of Christmas.

    Join Santa Claus as he endeavors to teach a young mouse all the wonders of the Christmas season.

Illustrator Katherine Croll is a senior attending Raymondville High School. She is a member, officer, and participant in many school organizations and activities. She is cofounder of the school’s art club and was chosen by the author and her art teacher, Allison Thompson, to illustrate this book.
