1 Cor 2:4.

I came not with enticing words of man’s wisdom but I come in the Demonstration of the Holy Spirit and of power.

This scripture is the basis for this book by Bishop D.G. Burnett

Bishop Dalton Burnett, a great man of faith certainly practices what he preaches. We are who God says we are and we can do what God says we can do a weekly confession along with the congregation he pastors each week. Bishop often says "the church must become problem solvers and as Descendants of God", we have power within us to bring change. We all have the power on our tongues to command change. In this book-4 (The Demonstrative Church) bishop delve into the realities of becoming a demonstrator of the power of the Holy Spirit. We are the demonstrating church.

Bishop is the senior Pastor of Harvestime Ministries with his wife Pastor Sandra. He is a man of passion for the things concerning God’s kingdom, reaching into the community teaching people to overcome their challenges, whilst striving to fulfil their highest possible purpose on this earth. He teaches God has a plan for all of us. His main focus is that we are the descendants of God

Burnett said: he never envisaged writing a book, but God opened his eyes to His Word, to the eternal value of the words that we speak daily. God continues pouring out His Word into Burnett’s heart and now he shares this new book with you called (The Demonstrative Church). It reveals how to demonstrate God’s power.

The Demonstrative Church is God’s voice through Bishop Burnett. It is written in an uncomplicated way so readers understand. The author writes as himself in Christ, no frills or tradition he is simple, clear but effective. There is no way readers will miss what God is saying in this book for this season. It comes alive and unravels mysteries. Readers will not want to put this book down but read from cover to cover. You may find yourself reading (The Descendants of God book-4) several times!

Having read this book myself, I am convinced and believe that from this point onwards, I am a demonstrator of kingdom power in the area God has called me to work in the kingdom.

This book helps you to understand who you are, having the nature of God in you. It also explains that God gave us all spiritual blessings from the beginning of time. I am now enlightened to more truths in the word than I ever imagined possible. You have the same creative force on your tongue given to you by your father that activates power just like Him. The very words that you speak could actually mean life or death. We are God’s descendants/demonstrators and we are Sons on the earth with God given authority over the enemy Satan. We have authority given to us and power on our tongues to command a thing and it shall be established unto us.

The Descendants of God book-4 makes it clear in order to rule and reign in Christ we must learn to only speak, confess and pray God’s word out daily. Only say what God says, Homologeo the word. We are the demonstrating church.

God has really used Bishop Burnett through this book to wake us up. I now know who I am in Christ and I’m persuaded to think and speak only that which is written in God’s Word concerning us. It has changed my attitude which means my altitude will be great.

Those of you who read this book will begin to fully understand that you too are Descendants/demonstrators of God and you already have the Kingdom of God in you. You will learn about the Blessing of God and your capabilities, the power of positive confession and how to take your faith to a higher level and believe for those things you do not yet see. We are the demonstrating church.

There is no doubt that you will change the way you think, the way you speak and start living the word. You will no longer see yourselves as others see you, but you will start seeing yourself as God sees you and believing what He has said about you. We are most definitely the descendants/demonstrators of the Most High God!

This book has been written specifically for you in mind. You will never be the same again, as you are brought into the full revelation knowledge of the Christ in you. You are who God says you are and you can do what God says you can do. The revelation of the demonstrators of God will set you free.

This series of books "The descendants of God" has been birth out of many years of pain, but in my pain God was there all the time to lead me in the right direction that I needed to go in. We learn by the pain we go through. It is written: acknowledge him in all thy ways and he shall direct thy paths Prov 3:1-6. I was struggling for years and wondered why there was not much flow of the healing anointing even though I took God at his word and had much of the word in my memory/heart. What was lacking was the word missing out of my mouth consistently. On day after much pain I came upon the writings of Kenneth E. Hagin he showed me how vital it was to learn to walk by faith standing on the word. I then started to pray for the sick but had no major break through of the healing power, then I came to the writings of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland this changed my life forever. My connection to Kenneth in the Spirit is wonderful it is changing everything in my life now. My days of been sick and broke is over.

I also started reading the writings of Charles Capps he taught me much on how to speak the word of God and stick with it no matter what we see in the natural. God also led me to the writings of F.F. Bosworth and John G Lake. I got Lakes sermons from KCM, man that changed me forever I tested it in Pakistan and the fire fell and God saved and healed many in my first crusade there in 2008. Now we have our branch there with over 3000 members and growing fast. They are on fire. I also came to the writings of David Oyedepo from Nigeria. By this time it was too late for the devil to stop me. Bishop John A Francis of Ruach ministries also poured into me when I almost gave up because of opposition in the local church. I am forever grateful to him and his wife Penny Francis. God used Penny to help me with just a few words. One night I heard Pastor Penny said in Kilburn London England "when God made us in heaven he did not put Impossible on us so who did?" I went from that meeting and continued my faith search to get answers from the Lord as to why his power was not flowing in the Local churches the way he wants it to. I found much of my answers in the writings and teachings of Dr Bill Winston. The problem was in our speech but we did not know it. These men as well as Matthew at KICC God use to help me see my status in the kingdom of Jesus Christ Eph 1:3.

Tradition is one of the greatest giants in the body of Christ that must die. I came upon the writings of John Osteen as well oh my it helped me so much only in heaven he will know. Now as I daily apply the word I can see the power of God flowing so easy in my life and in the local church. I want back all that Satan stole from me and my church and we will get it all back in the name of Jesus. If you want to see God work for you practice his word daily and he will step in and bring change to your life. I want to thank God for my wife Pastor Sandra and children and the church that has been there to help me when I needed it most. Chapter 1

We must demonstrate the Gospel of Christ

1 Cor 2:4.

When I came to you, I came not with enticing words of man’s wisdom but I come in the Demonstration of the Holy Spirit and of power.

To demonstrate is to show, reveal, display, exhibit, lay bare, prove, validate, establish, make plain. You are the descendants of God you are the descendants of almightiness and my role is to show you how to demonstrate what you are as a kingdom citizen. Understand that you are in the kingdom of Christ. Col 1:13.

The master has put it in my heart to write about (The Demonstrative Church) the church that will display his power and glory to the nations of the world in these end times. The church, the body of Christ was never meant by God to be weak or enemic or fail in anyway in this world. I come in the demonstration of the Holy Spirit and of power 1 Cor 2:4. God planned that the body of Christ would carry his power and his glory all the time we are in this world. The church is in the world but is not required by God to live like the world but to show the world the righteous ways of the Lord God. The church is the means by which God must demonstrate his power and might to all other powers that challenge his rule. This is why we have to learn to walk in the realms of the supernatural faith of the Lord God. Let me say it right now that man was never meant to live without the supernatural. We were created to live and walk by faith with the Lord God in the supernatural realm by faith.

It must be his faith in us operating daily regardless of natural circumstances. We get the God-kind of faith by continually listening to the word of the living God day by day by day. This must be for the rest of our life on the earth. Faith is what we have to live by and with it we will be able to help other people around us in the world. The just shall live by faith Heb 10:38. The church of Jesus Christ must demonstrate to the world that Jesus really is Christ. This is our task to preach the word with signs following. Jesus is the one that will confirm his word, if we stay with his word always. We are the descendants of the Most High God. We are in blood covenant that cannot be broken. Ps. 89:34 My covenant will I not break nor will I alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. We are the descendants of the blessing this is what we are forever in Christ. We are demonstrators of power.

God has always had a people and whatever he is doing it will be done through his people in the earth. The Lord will do nothing without his prophets. The people of God are called to demonstrate the power of the Lord to the nations of the world. This is our work this is our purpose in the earth. Jesus said these signs shall follow. The time has come for us to become demonstrators of kingdom power and glory to the nations of the world. 1 Cor 2:4. We are the descendants of the living God. We are the descendants of the Holy Spirit of God. We are the heirs of the power of the living God. We are entitled to miracles, signs and wonders because of the redemption we have in Christ Jesus. This redemption was paid for by Jesus Christ 2000 years ago on Calvary.

Why don’t we demonstrate the Gospel? We are the descendants of the living God and our time has come. Everything that God has said about us in his word is the absolute truth. God can never deviate from his word, because he is one with his word. It is vital that you see yourself as one with the word of God in order to become demonstrative of kingdom power and kingdom authority, through Jesus Christ. God has never planned for the church to be a passive church but for the church to imitate Jesus Christ in our Earth walk. God has never planned defeat for his church but victory in every encounter with the enemy this is why he has given us the gift of victory in line with the scriptures 1 Cor 15:57. But thanks be to God which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

A passive church cannot help the world, a passive church cannot bring healing to the sick, and a passive church cannot drive the devil out of people. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only James 1:22. So if we really want to see results we need to be acting on the word. A passive church will not declare war on the devil as we should. A passive church will not take the initiative against the enemy taking the battle to the enemy in the name of Jesus. It is in using the power of God, in the name of Jesus, that we will begin to see miracles, signs and wonders being demonstrated in the church. 1 Cor 2:4 When I come to you I come not with enticing words of man’s wisdom but I come in the demonstration of the Holy Spirit and of power.

The world is dying and need saviours and God has sent us into the world to be saviours in the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible talks about saviours rising up in the body of Christ on Mount Zion in the last days. Well we are now in the last days and the time has come to take the power of God and make the difference in our generation. It is time for the church to come out of its complacency and stand on the word of God. It is time to be what God says we are, it is time to accept our divine status in Christ. Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus our Lord Eph 1:3. We are joint-heirs with Christ Jesus.

It is time to have the mind of Christ and seize the moment to bring glory to God. I believe the body of Christ should be looking for opportunities, to bring glory to God by demonstrating the power of God to the nations of the world. Daniel and the Hebrew boys demonstrated the power of God to the people of the ungodly Babylonian system in their generation. Men like Daniel, Isaiah and David demonstrated the power of God to their generation. This was done in the face of great hostility and adversity, yet they came out undefeated because they trusted in the word of the Almighty God, that is totally undefeatable and indestructible. It is time for the body of Christ to come to the new level that God has planned for the church just like the early church fathers, who demonstrated the power of God through prayer and acting on the word of God.

When the early church fathers prayed, the fire of healing and deliverance fell from heaven into their generation. So where is the fire of the Lord in the body of Christ today? Also how can the fire of the Lord fall when we are walking in self and the pride of life? The word says: humble yourself under the mighty hand of God that he may exalt you in due season. I believe that to be humble is to be a doer of the word of God. So if we are faithful to obey and practice the word. God will make sure we get our due harvest on the condition that we obey the word of the living God. 1 Cor 2:4 When I come to you I come not with enticing words of man’s wisdom but I come in the demonstration of the Holy Spirit and of power. Until we learn as the body of Christ, to act upon the word of God we will still go on lacking and the wealth of the sinner that is laid up for us will stay in the hands of the ungodly until we mature/grow up in the things of the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words we must learn to walk by the faith of God, becoming doers of the word of God depending totally on the covenant/government of God. It is written: For we walk by faith and not by sight 2 Cor 5:7. I actually believe it is time to depend on the indwelling one who lives in us forever. It is very sad to understand that we have unlimited power in us yet we are not producing the goods because of unbelief, we are not operating within the word the way we should because of unbelief. We seem to be looking only at the storms/circumstances as Peter did years ago.

We are not receiving healing and deliverance and prosperity the way we should because of unbelief/doubt. But the day we start to do the word it is then we will begin to see the mighty power of the Lord back in the church as after Pentecost. The people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits Dan 11:32. What we now need to do is, simply believe the word and stand on it expecting that what God has said will come to pass, even though we don’t see or know how he will do it. All we need to do to get miracles to manifest is to act on the word of the Living God all the time consistently, knowing that God cannot lie. That is not possible that God should lie. You must learn to understand that the word works from the invisible into the visible so just because you do not see an immediate change, that does not mean that God is not doing, what he has said in his word. This is where many get into the trap of unbelief and miss their purpose and destiny. Do not let the enemy do that to you. Take God at his word whether you see immediate changes are not. That is how one must learn to live by faith.

Unbelief is a major thief in the body of Christ at the moment, stealing from the church, getting us to think that shortage is a blessing. But that is a lie from the pit of hell that should be rebuked out of the church in the name of Jesus Christ. God is in the business of abundance business, God is in the healing business, God is in the miracle business, and God is in the deliverance business. All the above is the responsibility and duty of the church because Jesus sent us to preach the gospel of the kingdom to the world as a matter of fact, he said preach the gospel to every creature Mark 16:15. And he also said: signs shall follow them that believe. The time has come to cast out the fear, cast out the doubt, cast out the selfishness, cast out the self-pity and act on the word of God. I can assure you as you do this you will begin to see progressively the power of God breaking out in your life. Understand that God has always been the miracle working God. It is very sad when his people do not take him at his word, in order to release him to perform miracles, signs and wonders in our lives.

The situation in some local churches is unfortunate in terms of how we have deserted the word of the Lord. However it is not the fault of the father because he has given us the covenant word. All we have to do now is act upon the word of God in order to bring God on the scene as Elijah did and as David did in their lifetime. It is our turn now to become proof producers, miracle dispensers, healing dispensers, prosperity dispensers, blessing dispensers because the blessing of the Lord is upon us forever. When God blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, it means, that we now possess all things in Christ. In reality in the kingdom of God we are far from sickness, infirmities lack and diseases. We are above all these things in the realms of the spirit however for them to become a reality in our daily life; we will have to learn to walk by faith as Jesus did and the early church. By early church I mean the first believers in Christ Jesus. You are his blood relative.

The body of Christ can only bring glory to God when we learn to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit just like Jesus. Jesus returned from the wilderness in the power of the Spirit and he began to cast out devils and heal the sick with the words of his mouth. The Holy Spirit declares: that his word was with power. The time has come for the body of Christ to do the same, producing the proof that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the great father God. This is the moment, this is the time, and this is our hour to produce the power of God by the faith of God on your lips and in our hearts. We are the descendants of God demonstrating his power on Earth.

The word of man’s wisdom cannot get the job done it will take the anointing of the Spirit of the Lord to finish the Job that the Master has given to the church to accomplish. We are in a real war against the powers of the enemy. Hell is throwing at mankind, every wickedness from the pit of hell itself. Yes we are in a real war. The joke is over the time has come to wage war against the enemy of our soul. Good motivational speaking I am not against but that cannot undo heavy burdens nor can it set the oppressed free. We need to admit that we need the power back in the church so we can
