Description

Most people probably know someone who has had thyroid disease of some sort, most commonly hypothyroidism - the term low thyroid hormone. But there has been a significant rise in diagnosed thyroid disease in the past couple of decades due to screening. These diagnoses include problems with thyroid hormone as well as thyroid cancers.
