About this ebook

Wolfgang Majestic, a postmodern Everyman, gives us a glimpse into the near future, and it's not a pretty picture, except for his wife's girlfriend, Gigi Yamaha, a very hot, scary person.

Plus, no religious experience would be complete without a visit from a charming coed, even in a seminary.

A post-modern sci-fi everyman romance--his wife says she wants to break up with him, but says he can go out with her half sister. Seems okay, except he likes her girlfriend better. Recommended. Fun.

He'd been laid off from his job at BuySome Drugs.

The manager took him into his office and said, Listen, Wolfgang—that is your name, isn't it?

Yeah, right. That's my name.

Good. Well, anyway, we're going to go out of business at the end of this week, and we have to lay you off.

Of course, Wolfgang was upset, but in the days that followed, he became even more distraught when it seemed that BuySome Drugs didn't actually go out of business. There were still ads in the local paper, and the doors were open, operating just like before, except without him.

He went into the store and, after waiting in line, spoke to the girl at the counter, who he'd never seen before. This was nothing new, as he usually didn't recognize the girls who worked at the counter. They appeared to come and go at random.

Hey, he said. I thought this place was going out of business.

You buying something? she said.

No. I just came here to find out if you're going out of business. I used to work here.
