About this ebook
This is the Final Test!!!
If you pass, then you are an advanced English speaker.
We thought long and hard about how we could properly test your English at an advanced level. In the end we decided the only way to do it was to just record people speaking about various topics. They didn't use scripts or try to make it easy, they just spoke naturally. This is real unscripted English, not a standard English textbook.
So basically, either you understand them and are an advanced English speaker, or you don't and you aren't.
Take a look and find out if you are advanced or....not.

Introduction
Welcome to the final Test My English book. As this is for checking advanced English, we decided to do something different. This time we just recorded people speaking about subjects that interest them. There was no script, we just asked them to speak using the language that they would usually use. That way we could be sure that if an ESL student could understand it, they were of an advanced level.
It's very simple, either you understand what they are saying or you don’t.
We ask questions before each speaking section. Unlike in the earlier books, some of the answers need to be inferred from what they are saying.
So, basically that's it!!
This book is for:
Advanced level English learners wishing to check their progress.
Higher level learners wishing to review and identify any gaps they may have in their English knowledge.
How to Use This Book
Remember, we just recorded people speaking, then transcribed what they said. That means that it can be a bit messy!
For example:
People start speaking in the middle of sentences.
People can miss out prepositions and articles etc.
People can assume that you understand what they are talking about from the context.
But.....if you can understand what they are saying, then you are an advanced English speaker.
You will score 1 point for each question you answer. It will say how many points are available in each section.
