THE COSMIC LAWS

The Laws of Creation: These laws, which may be called cosmic, natural or Divine laws, take on a pivotal and universal role, for no single event can take place outside them. They form, preserve, regulate and maintain the entire universe down to the minutest happening, which can only be recognised with the aid of a microscope.

In reality, they are the effects of the creative Will of God, which thereby becomes recognisable to us human beings. As such, they are in no way comparable to human legislation; instead they are omnipresent and self-acting forces, the effects of which nothing and no one can escape, evade or circumvent. Since they issue out of perfection, they are also perfect and are erected upon an absolute principle of upbuilding and genuine progress for the benefit of all human beings, animals and nature.

Therefore, there should naturally be nothing more obvious than to get to know these Laws and to adapt to their specific characteristics, that is, to align ourselves with them as opposed to acting and going against them. In the end, all suffering and all illness could be avoided thereby, for in reality, good health should be the normal condition, which would then naturally result from a life in harmony with the Laws of Creation. Sickness always happens as a corrective to make us aware of abnormal conditions or wrong attitudes, which call out for change.

But since only a few people know about, or even want to know about the three, or in the broader sense, five simple Laws of Nature, no one should be astonished that suffering, hardship and chaos are on the rise, since the readiness to harmonise with the natural order of things is lacking due to both ignorance and indifference on our part!

Unlike human laws, the cosmic laws cannot be circumvented or deceived! They register or pinpoint our real intentions with absolute precision and exactitude down to the minutest detail and manifest accordingly, regardless of whether these intentions lead to concrete actions or not. That is why the purification and cleansing of our entire inner life and our thoughts is far more important than we commonly surmise.

Another important aspect of these laws concerns the freedom that we all wish for ourselves. Does freedom mean being able to do or leave undone whatever we want? Does it mean that we are not answerable to anyone or anything and can do what we like regardless of the impact on our surroundings? Of course not, for freedom is there for all, and must not be exercised at the expense of others. This, in turn, requires that justice must be part and parcel of a perfect natural order!

Here too, the Laws of Creation, to which we are subject every second of our lives, act as guardians and dispensers of this universal justice. Real freedom therefore requires that we make use of these laws by wisely applying their possibilities and potential for our own benefit and that of others.

The five cosmic laws are introduced in their basic features as follows:

1. The Law of Reciprocal Action: This law of cause-and-effect retroactivity means, without exception, that all our thoughts, words and deeds have consequences that first affect others, then also retroactively fall back on us as the originators, as the ones responsible, whether these are good or evil.

The easiest way to recognise the Law of Reciprocal Action is in the garden and in farming, for there, without exception, we can only grow what we sow. Since the Laws of Creation are not active in this area alone, but are universal and therefore all-encompassing, they are just as applicable to everything else, including ourselves, of course!

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We
