Introduction
While there may not be a remedy that can overcome heartbreak for everyone, there are tips for dealing with it. It really hurts when your heart is broken, the feeling of lost, depression and devastation that follows is overwhelming.
Getting over heartbreak is very challenging as well as exhausting, many have fallen sick and it took serious medical and psychological intervention to restore them to normalcy. Many have even committed Suicide because they couldn’t contain the pain or bear the shame of a broken relationship.
This book offers practical steps that can help in overcoming heartbreak, some of the steps are as follow
You must accept the fact
This is an important step to take. When you are heartbroken, this is usually due to an unexpected outcome. The relationship didn’t turn out the way you expected it. The first thing you have to do is accept what has happened. There is no point in going back in time thinking of what if
because it would depress you more. You have to understand that life must goes on, whether you like it or not, you just have to accept it. This phase is perhaps the most difficult because most people still cannot accept what has happened and this leads to depression.
You have to get up again
After accepting the fact that the relationship is over, it is very difficult to continue living. All the drastic changes in a person's life that affect their daily life are always difficult. It’s important to do it step by step. For example, it is good to remember that a loved one, whether dead or gone, but you have to believe that he/she is gone. Challenge yourself constantly and move on with your life. It's a great opportunity to try things you've never done before. Who knows, you might find something you are very good at that will
