I read the whole thing in about 2 days. It was a great book and I was captivated by the cover which is seriously unique and catches the eye. I would have love to see more pictures in the book, and to read a book that covers more than the first generation (I know that this book is literally about the first generation but I’m unable to search because I’m offline with no data) Which brings me to my final point which is thanks for putting it on Scribd/Everand , which is my absolute favorite book consumption app out there. There is nothing better especially for people that read alot, and read offline.

A Brief History Of The Video Game Industry - Michael R Carpenter

A Brief History of The Video Game Industry

The First Generation

About the Author

Video games have been a part of Michael R. Carpenter’s life before he could even read. Carpenter grew up in a dangerous part of the U.S, so his parents would often keep him and his brother indoors whenever they deemed it necessary. He would often spend hours watching his older brother play classic video games from the NES library such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Super Mario Bros., and Darkwing Duck.

However, Carpenter’s parents always emphasized the importance of an education. Throughout history, many historical figures have used the phrase knowledge is power. As an educator, Carpenter believes in this motto and in his parents’ wisdom.
