This book is a modern language rending of the first book of the Bible that we call Genesis. The footnotes give background information and historical data and word meanings that should be helpful to the reader in understanding the text. The text is not a translation per se but is a paraphrase in the authorƒs own words after studying the text in the KJV, NKJV, NIV, CEV and The Living Bible. Bible commentaries Strongƒs Concordance were also used extensively. Although the author did not study the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts he did use Strongƒs Concordance to determine the meaning of many Hebrew and Greek words used in the original language of the Old and New Testaments.
