Mermaids Cry Far from where the water kisses the shore Laughter is heard forevermore Submerge to where corpses hang round To where my effervescence can be found No man gone, no man seen Grottos made of aquamarine Precious paths and precious stones Hidden beneath them are broken bones Moving, swaying to where the shells rattle Deep into the caves, witness a battle Let the brooks push you forth Hold your breath as you go north Tossing and turning as waves collide Crossing paths in an oceanic stride Dive into the hunger of the sea And with the tides the maidens shall Hlee Falling on the turbulent dreams Oblivious to their siren screams As your body descends towards the seabed Unconscious of the tears they shed And once the whispers conHirm youre asleep The more they cry, the more they weep Drawn towards the seas they call No struggles, one more fall The cadavers conHirmed and only then Will the waters decide to stir again With their enchanting whispers on the ocean Hloor So the sea shall enthrall and call one more
