Make die-cut titles three-dimensional
by creating these fun shaker titles.
Your pages come to life when the titles
have movement and depth.

1Layer the paper and strips to make lay-
ered die-cut letters. Die-cut the letters
needed for your title.

2Die-cut the letters from coordinating
color foam.

Making a Shaker

3Adhere the foam letters to the title mat.
Select one or more letters to fill with
beads and cover all of the foam letters
with the layered die-cut letters.

4Cut a small piece of plastic page protec-
tor to size so that it seals in the beads in
your title letter. Adhere this piece of plas-
tic in place. Once sealed, finish the last
letter by adding the layered die-cut letter
on top.

Title Tricks

107

In the layout shown here, the shaker title accents the theme of the page. The moving beads draw attention to the quick steps
of the Irish dancing. By changing the colors of the layered die-cut letters and the seed beads, this technique could be used for
a scrapbook page based on any theme.
