Cristine Villagonzalo NIP Research Wing, R301 National Institute of Physics University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City 1101 Philippines (date) Dear Dr. Villagonzalo, Good day! I am a third year student under the program of Bachelor of Science in Physics. I am writing this letter to express my interest in joining the Structure and Dynamics Group. I’ve been interested in the field of solid-state physics, specifically the Spintronics (Spin Electronics) technology, which I believe is the future of the modern computers. In line with this, I want to do a research on this and contribute for its development in the near future. This would only be possible if I join to this group, as I see SanD as the only research group in NIP that has the potential to do a theoretical study on this field. Additionally, I have also studied in advance some of the basics of Fortran as it is the programming language that is currently used by the group in the computational field. I can be reached anytime via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or thru my cellular phone, 09051991775. Thank you for your time and I am hoping for your kind approval. I look forward to speaking with you about this application.
Truly, King Karl R. Seroje BS Physics-III 2010-79254
