Select Run Download IOS large collection of Images from http://www.careercert.info/2009/05/new-cisco-iosversion-124-collection.html Goto Edit >>> IOS and Hypervisors

Select Platform like c1700 series Select Image file option >>> locate the path >>> Save and Close Drag and Drop the Router c17000 >>> Right click R1 >>> Select idle PC >>> Select the asterick drop down option best chose for your PC specifications.

You are good to go :) download and install Oracle VM Virtual box from https://www.virtualbox.org/ + and extension pack from the same URL Configure create windows XP vdi and try telnet the GNS3 c1700 from host linux OS. Will be uploading the pages in the next supplementary paper. Enjoy :)
