Mr. Harris: Okay. Ms. Murphy: Not everybody pronounces it that way but that’s how I do and I'm always please when somebody chooses to pronounce it the way I do. Mr. Harris: We try. Ms. Murphy: All right. And so everybody ready here? Ms. Nowicki: Yeah, we're on. Ms. Murphy: Okay. And so we start with identifying ourselves -- Mr. Harris: Uh-huh. Ms. Murphy: -- for the record. And you are -- Mr. Harris: I’m Michael Harris, Acting Chief Deputy Director. Ms. Murphy: Okay. And I’m Corinne Murphy, Deputy Attorney General. Angela Nowicki: Angela Nowicki. Law Enforcement, Emergency Services. I’m a Superintendent 11. Ms. Murphy: Okay. And we're here on the 24th of February, 2012 in -- uh -- Sacramento at 1416 9th Street. And as you know, you're being questioned as part of an official internal investigation. Mr. Harris: Uh-huh. Ms. Murphy: Okay. And I read a -- uh -- uh -- this -2- 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 interrogation -- uh -- report or admonition to every person and it’s important, of course, that you listen to it. You've probably heard it before but nevertheless. Mr. Harris: Certainly. Ms. Murphy: Okay. You are hereby directed to answer all questions honestly and completely. Your refusal to answer or any type of evasion, deception, dishonesty or lack of cooperation on our part could constitute insubordination and/or inexcusable neglect of duty and result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal. Neither your statement nor any information or evidence which is gained by reason of such statement can be used against you in any criminal proceedings. No promise of reward will be made as an inducement for the answer to any question and -- uh -- I assume that you know -- uh -~ because you got my letter that you could have recorded this, right? Mr, Harris: Yes. Ms. Murphy: And as I say to people, if they want to relive this down the road, since you're not doing it yourself -- uh -- we have this available for you. Mr. Harris: Okay.
