READING: READING This week the children will listen to the heartwarming story, The Kissing Hand and create a special keepsake. The Incredible Book Eating Boy, by Oliver Jeffers and Wolf! By Becky Bloom will be shared as well. These clever, fictional stories, deliver a wonderful underlying message about the determination needed to learn to read and the joys of reading. Be sure to ask your child about the story characters – Chester, Henry and Wolf. | MATH While I spend time assessing kindergarten math skills one-on-one with the children, they’ll work with table group friends, exploring math manipulatives during centers.
