Then the start up message is displayed while the controller checks the bottom limit switch signal
(817). After the bottom limit switch signal is detected, the floor text which is displayed on digital
displays will be indicated. But if there is an error in the system, the error code will be displayed.

: In order to enter menu push E (Enter) button. The first menu parameter and its value
are displayed one after another.

The parameters with the numbers P0-P8 are used for system parameters in controller.
The parameters with the numbers d1-d8 are used for car and landing digital display patterns
1.4. EXIT MENU
E
: In order to exit from menu push and hold E (Enter) button until the display indicates
the floor where the car stays. Also the controller leaves menu while there is no
operation in menu mode for 20 seconds.
When you exit from menu mode, then last configuration you prepared is stored into memory. The
controller uses these new parameters in operation and system is ready to function as a controller
again.

P 1
P 2
This parameter stores the number of stops in lift system. You can enter any number between
2 and 8.
This parameter stores the busy period. It also determines the waiting time at floor. The data is
displayed in seconds.
This parameter stores the maximum time period to wait door lock closed after a door close
signal is sent. The data is displayed in seconds.
Set this parameter to 35 s for semi-automatic doors and 95 s for full automatic doors.

3. ERROR CODES
When an error occured, the error code with letter H in first display is indicated by flashing
displays.
Only H6 (Max. Floor to floor time is elapsed) error blocks the system.
For the other errors (excluding H1 and H3), controller waits 30 s to be removed from the system.
If the problem can not be solved at the end of this period, controller resets the error.
In order to terminate the error messages push E (Enter) button or activate the inspection switch.

5. TROUBLESHOOTING
No Inspection Movement
When inspection switch is turned on, the inspection indicator coded as 869 which is on the ARL-100 board must be
turned off. Also the inspection movement buttons must set the 500 and 501 coded indicators. The car connection should
be controlled if the indicators are not acts correctly.
Be sure that 120 (Stop), 130 (Door Closed) and 140 (Door Locked) circuits are closed when inspection UP or
inspection DOWN buttons are pressed (All signals of these circuits on the controller board have to be on).
The limit switches may stop movements. The 817 (KSR1) and 818 (KSR2) indicators can not be off at the same time.
The limit switches should be controlled if the indicators are off.
Lift Stops Before Reaching Low Speed ( For two speed systems)
If the same trouble occurs at all floors, possibly the 142 magnetic switch is failed. During traveling with low speed
142 indicator must be on. After the lift is at floor level, the 142 magnetic switch has to switch off and stop the lift.
If the trouble occurs at a specific floor, magnetic switches and the distance between magnets should be controlled.
Lift Hits Up
Top limit switch circuit 818 (KSR2) should be controlled. When the lift slows down at the top floor, 818 indicator
must be turned off. If not, the magnetic switch and the magnets should be controlled. M1 and 818 switches slow down
the car at the same position. 818 limit switch must not be late to slow down car. Because it corrects the faulty counting
of M1 switch.
The 142 magnetic switch may be failed. When the lift is at floor level, 142 indicator must be off. If not, the magnetic
switch and the magnets should be controlled.
ARL-100

When Stop Button Is Pressed The Counter Shows The Top Floor
The common of 817 and 818 limit switches has to be 100 (+24V).
Lift Stops Operating And Starts Operating By Itself Without Any Stimulation
Motor PTC may stop lift. If motor ventilation is not enough , PTC stops lift up to desired temperature.
Power failures may cause this problem. Check for R,S,T phase line voltages.
When Calling Lift, It Stops At Each Level And Need To Call Again
If lift does this for each call, the voltages may decrease. Check 100 (24V) terminal voltage while operating. Control
the capacitors (3 x 1000uf/35V) for 24V. If line voltage increase too much or neutral signal missed the transformer
output increase also. Check for the line powers and neutral signal.
If lift does this for a specific call, that calls latch may be failed. The latch circuit should be controlled. Check
connections for this call. Car flexible cable order is important. There must be no high voltage wire near call signals.

ATTENTION!
Take care while connecting
your flexible cable
There are small points to take care while connecting your flexible cable. Arrange your cable
order according to their electrical signal level. Although the cables have enough insulation, long
parallel cables have transformer effect. The signals can joint between each neighbors. If there is
two or more flexible cables it is better to separate low an high voltage signals.
Here is an example of faulty connection.

In this example ever car lamp on/off operation makes high voltage peaks on line and it can leak to
406 (car call signal). In long term this causes a fault on 406 output transistor. Also there is risk
because of Magnetic cam power lines. 818 and 804 signal may have faulty operation in long term.
Here is an example of correct connection order.
