Welcome to Calvary Kids! At Calvary, we love kids and we love Jesus!

We’ve created a place for kids to belong, become like Jesus and be a blessing to the world. We want to partner with parents as they raise their kids to know and love Jesus. We’re glad you are here! Nursery (0-24 months) Calvary’s nursery is a warm, inviting place for our youngest children. Our volunteers have been screened and trained to provide quality care for young children. We are eager to share the love of Jesus with the infants and toddlers in our care. Early Childhood (2 years - Kindergarten) and Elementary (Grades 1-4) Our curriculum, TRU (by David C Cook), is a spiritually-forming, family- empowered program designed to create space for kids to connect with God. Kids are placed in small groups with intentional leaders who will nurture their faith and help them build relationships with others. Each week kids learn who God is and hear about His redemptive plan through The Big God Story and worship response activities.

Splash (Grades 5 and 6) In Splash, we tackle the tough questions preteen students ask about life, God and relationships. Together with friends and leaders, students dig into the Bible to see what it has to say about these real-life issues. Splash is designed to help students move from childhood into youth ministry, develop lasting friendships and grow in their relationship with God.

Special Needs Ministry Does your child's special needs make church challenging for your family? We want ALL kids at Calvary to belong, become like Jesus and be a blessing. Please contact a Calvary Kids team member to discuss how we can meet your child's needs.

WHITE BEAR CAMPUS AWANA : Age 3 - Grade 4 AWANA, offered Wednesday nights at our White Bear Campus, is a Bible-based, Christcentered program committed to helping kids grow in their faith. Kids share in worship services and special musical productions throughout the year. Adventure Club: Age 4 - Grade 4 Adventure Club is a place for kids and their friends to meet Jesus and learn to live for Him! If you like skits, Bible stories, singing, crafts, and games, then you will love Adventure Club! All the fun activities are designed to help kids grow in their relationship with Jesus! This is a great place to bring friends and to make new friends. Splash: Grades 5 & 6 Students from both campuses gather together at Roseville for a time filled with games, large group Bible teaching, and small groups discussion that fosters relationships and faith. Bring your friends! *Note: Bus transportation is available for Splash students coming from the White Bear Campus

Family Ministry
A child’s faith grows best when there is a dynamic partnership between home and church. We want to inspire, support and equip you as you raise your kids to know and love Jesus! Best Practices for Raising Kids to Know and Love Jesus 1. Pray for your children

2. 3. 4. 5.

Bring your family together around God’s Word Model a life of devotion to Christ Make worship a priority Surround your children with others who have a vibrant faith in Christ

Parent Resources TRU’s HomeFront Weeklys and Monthlys are powerful resources designed to get families talking about God. These connect with our Sunday morning curriculum and empower parents to be their child’s primary spiritual teachers. Make some time each week to check them out! Find Homefronts at www.calvarychurch.us or at church. To have HomeFronts delivered to your phone on a weekly basis, text “follow calvarykidsmn” to 40404. Spiritual Parenting Class It’s hard enough to train kids to behave, but good behavior isn’t what Jesus calls for in the Bible. He wants hearts and souls that are shaped in vibrant faith and love toward God and others. How can parents cultivate this in their children? Spiritual Parenting introduces the simple, but revolutionary concept that parents are, by the power of God’s Spirit, to obey and depend on God in order to create an environment God can use to beckon their children to Him. Based on the book Spiritual Parenting by Dr. Michelle Anthony, we’ll hear practical examples and biblical insight on the spiritual role of parenting during this sixsession class. Wednesdays from 6-8 at the Roseville Campus October 17, October 24, November 7, November 14, November 28, December 5 Family Worship Research shows that a child’s faith is more likely to stick for a lifetime if they are part of the larger church community. We have intentionally scheduled several Sundays each year for Family Worship. On these days, kids will attend the worship service with their parents. It’s a great time to model your love for Jesus and to have a shared faith experience with your children. (Programming is available for kids aged 2 and younger on Family Worship Days.)
