A Process is:

A set of steps leading to a desired result

Communication is the process of conveying information in such a way that the message is received and understood. What is the desired result of this process?

Verbal Communication  Includes listening and speaking .

 It is good to tune certain sounds out. but you may do this too often. so… Know what the barriers are!  .Effective Listening  A spoken message is worthless unless someone hears it and listens to it.

Barriers to Good Listening    The habits of ignoring sounds Forgetting the message .Take the time and effort to remember. Misunderstanding the message .

by giving the speaker some feedback to check.Be Active not Passive  An Active Listener makes sure he or she understood. .
