The September Library Board of Trustees meeting is a special meeting focusing on the future the Mies van der Rohe-designed historic Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library building. All regular business is suspended in order to allow time for presentations by consultants hired with the funding provided by Mayor Gray. This meeting will further explore the options and the work of the Urban Land Institute’s Advisory Services Panel that convened last November.
