Acting On His Word
September 30- October 6, 2012

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

God calls us into deeper healing and to increasing fruitfulness. James 1:22, “Be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only…”

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Apostles Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus’ stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

If I do not doubt in my heart but believe that the things that I say will come to pass, I shall have whatever I say. Mark 11:23 My faith works through love. Galatians 5:6b I am in the Father and the Father is in me. The Words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own authority; rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing His work. John 14:10

There are three ways to release our faith; say it, pray it, and act on it. Speaking God’s Word releases our faith. Praying for the desired result releases faith. This means that when we pray we focus on the answer to our problem and not the problem. Then we begin to act like our answer is already finished. By saying, praying, and acting on the Word of God our faith will increase and we will grow with God. When we truly believe God’s Word we act on it and that action releases God’s power to work on our behalf. Besides all that, the Bible commands us to be doers of the Word and not hearers only.
